Brooklyn Coat Pattern – This oversized, boxy coat features dropped shoulders and a fold over collar with front and back patch pockets. The full length sleeves are finished with a turned over cuff. The coat can either be worn loosely open or secured with a decorative pin. The perfect cover up for the autumn/winter months and ideal for layering too. Note: This coat pattern has raw edges.
The Brooklyn Coat is best made up in boiled wools and also suitable for ponti, boiled felted wools and neoprene fabrics. IMPORTANT: Not suitable for woven fabrics that fray when cut.

Seam Allowance: seam allowances are included and are in imperial (inches) not metric (centimetres). All raw edges are overlapped by 3/8” and side seams are also sewn together taking 3/8” seam allowance. Please take the seam instructions/allowances as specified.
Sewing Level for this pattern: suitable for intermediate and super-advanced sewers.
Recommended fabrics: boiled wools, ponti knits, note: fabrics that do not fray when cut.
