This quintessential Liberty floral was created during the early 1930s by the enigmatic artist DS, who designed many of Liberty’s favourite Classics. Research points to a potential link between DS’s work and that of a designer called Mrs. Stoneley, making this nostalgic dog rose pattern a tribute to her enduring influence and timeless contributions to Liberty’s legacy.
