Delving into the multifaceted process of creating printed textiles, the Liberty design studio was inspired by the flat, block-coloured areas typically found across the edges of tiled-out repeat patterns. Drawing from a diverse range of hand-painted archival artworks, Marina’s Tea Garden emerges as a striking floral silhouette, meticulously redrawn to capture the richness and tonal subtleties of gouache brushstrokes. Colourway C has am Autumnal palette of rusty oranges and reds, mustard and olive green on a black base.
